Physics is known to help build proficiency in science and math, unlock critical thinking skills, and create career pathways; yet, many students are never exposed to the subject. Thanks to a three-year grant from MFF, DSST Public Schools (DSST), formerly known as the Denver School of Science and Technology, is now able to offer physics beginning in the 6th grade using a novel approach called Physics in a Box. DSST teachers receive a curriculum of 100 lessons and are trained to guide students through engaging hands-on experiments.
