Nobody planned for our new need to educate our nation’s students remotely due to COVID-19. Teachers weren’t prepared to provide daily instruction online, students weren’t taught how to access lessons, and parents certainly weren’t ready to juggle working from home while ensuring their children continue to thrive academically. It’s been an adjustment for all involved, and one that’s still being figured out by many of us. Yet, this is our new normal, at least for the foreseeable future.
As part of PhySciRA’s mission to provide teachers, administrators, and parents with exactly what they need, we’ve developed FREE math and science programs, resources, customized consultations, and more.
Introducing the Only Hands-On, Online Math and Science Program: Newton by PhySciRA Academy
Physics in a Box is the only hands-on, online program that provides students with real experiments in real-time even during this period of remote studying. Teachers rave about the program that enables them to remain connected with students and deliver knowledge in a lively and exciting way. Students appreciate the opportunity to do something new and different. Parents enjoy knowing their children are more engaged in learning than simply taking tests online and listening to YouTube videos of chapter readings due to books remaining at school.
We understand that the biggest gap right now is a lack of quality materials and the ability to meet the needs of students and teachers. We can bridge this gap for you now with interesting, engaging, and educational hands-on, online learning! From videos, interactive online mini-classes, webinars, and one-on-one consultations, we’ve got you covered.
Why the Name Newton?
More than 500 years ago, Sir Isaac Newton was a student at Cambridge University, which closed its campus to promote social distancing in an effort to slow the spread of the bubonic plague. During his time of isolation, he discovered the law of gravity and laid the foundation for modern science and mathematics with his studies on light refraction. It was during his enforced quarantine that Newton changed the world of math and science to what we know it today!
